What are the differences on the treads?

There are 3
treads and 3 reasons...
What are the differences between the 3 treads? It's
simple.
The main differences are the length of the deck, the size of the motor and what you see on screen. All machines have EXACTLY the same programs. It's what you see on screen that is different. 10MPH on the T55i and 12 on the other two units. Also the T56i and T57i have Audio IN port for your iPod, Mp3 or even AM radio that plays over the integral speakers.
The T55i is perfect for those that want to walk or jog and have space limitations. Although my bank manager is 275lbs and a football player (almost drafted by a CFL team) and runs at 6-8MPH and at 4-5% grade for 20-30 minutes. At 6'3" he loves this machine. But if you are limited for space this is the machine for you since the belt is 51" long the machine will not be an overwhelming piece of furniture in the house. It has a back lit LCD and as the others is fully heart rate interactive and comes with a RedZone chest strap.
The T56i, 12 MPH, Audio in and 5 more inches of deck length. The screen is based on a 'simple mill' design. You see the SPEED and ELEVATION all the time in 2 separate windows as well the profile on a back lit main screen.
The T57i, is the BIG one. 60 inches in length and tri-color LED and more info screens as well. You need to make sure you have the room for this one.
COMPARE
Motor sizes: Deck Max Spd Max Elev
T55i- 2.75HP 20 x 51 10 MPH 15%
T56i- 3.0HP 20 x 55 12 MPH 15%
T57i-3.25HP 20 x 60 12 MPH 15%
